Girls take third at districts

The Lady Raiders beat Entiat 65-40 this morning to take third place in the District 5/6 tournament in Wenatchee.
The win puts them into “Round 1” of the state tournament at University High School in Spokane Valley on Friday.
Head Coach Peewee Pleasants said the girls put in a strong defensive effort.
“They really wanted to weigh in,” he commented as he was en route after the game to Spokane to catch some of the game between their eventual District 7 rivals.
