The net pen volunteers at Electric City on Banks Lake are accepting 128,000 Kokanee and 50,000 rainbow trout this morning. They’ll raise these all winter until the fish are big enough to make it in their own. The Washington State Dept. Of Fish & Wildlife stocks Banks with 1 million Kokanee a year.
Mark Igo pilots his boat, towing a pen full of fish to the other side of the dock, while others walk the next pen into place to receive fish.
