Take simulated fly-over of the new school plans

Take a flying leap over and around the proposed new school complex.
Then leaf through the PowerPoint presentation people at last Wednesday night’s meeting saw.

Here’s a little movie that will let you see the bigger picture of the Grand Coulee Dam School District’s new school proposal in a three dimensional format. Note the two-story structure, and the plan to modernize and actually uses some of the existing high school.

More details, and a report on the Wednesday meeting, plus comments from some who think the district should stop the process, will be in the April 21 edition of The Star.

I can’t believe this community is building a facility as lavish as this in this econony – and on land that belongs to the Colville sovereign Indian nation reservation. The facet that the school district “owns this land” will not hold water when the Colvilles decide the challenge that ownership as soon as you have spent all that money and completed the school. Check it out folks.
